The Referral Programme is operated by:

Trading name: Mealzo Store
E-mail: hello@mealzo.store
Website: mealzo.store

Hereinafter this entity is referred to as "Mealzo".

1. About these Terms

1. These Terms set out the rules for taking part in the Mealzo Referral Programme.

2. The Referral Programme is an additional and voluntary service. Taking part in it is not a condition of using Mealzo services or of buying a Package.

3. Matters not covered here are governed by the Mealzo Terms and Conditions. Where the two differ on the rules of the Referral Programme itself, these Terms prevail.

4. Definitions from the Mealzo Terms and Conditions (in particular Customer, Customer Account, Package, Order, Meal, Delivery) apply accordingly.

2. Definitions

1. Programme — the Mealzo Referral Programme described in these Terms.

2. Referrer — a Customer with a Customer Account who shares their Referral Code.

3. Referred Person — a person who creates a new Customer Account and enters the Referrer's Referral Code during registration.

4. Referral Code — an individual string assigned to the Referrer's Customer Account and generated by Mealzo.

5. Qualifying Package — the 30-day Package. No other Package triggers a Reward, and Credit cannot be used on any other Package.

6. Mealzo Credit (the "Credit") — a value recorded on a Customer Account that reduces the amount payable when buying a Qualifying Package. Credit is not money and is not a payment instrument.

7. Reward — the Credit granted to the Referrer under clause 5.

8. Welcome Discount — a reduction in the price of the Referred Person's first Qualifying Package under clause 6.

3. Who can take part

1. Any Customer with an active Customer Account may take part.

2. The Referred Person must be a new Customer. If the person entering a Referral Code already has a Customer Account or has previously placed an Order, no attribution occurs.

3. People working with Mealzo on the provision of its services, including kitchen staff and drivers, are excluded from the Programme.

4. How a referral works

1. The Referrer finds their Referral Code in the app or on the website, on their Customer Account.

2. The Referred Person enters the Referral Code when creating their Customer Account. This is the only moment at which a referral can be attributed. It cannot be done after the Account has been created.

3. Attribution of a Referred Person to a Referrer is permanent and one-time. An Account once attributed cannot be re-attributed to a different Referrer.

4. A Referral Code cannot be used by its own owner. Self-referral is rejected.

5. Entering a Referral Code is optional. Not entering one does not restrict the use of Mealzo services in any way.

5. Reward for the Referrer

1. The Referrer becomes entitled to a Reward once all of the following are met:

2. The last condition is an event, not a waiting period. The Reward does not depend on a number of days elapsing, but on the first Meal actually being delivered to the Referred Person.

3. The Reward is a fixed amount, independent of the Package price, and is published on the "Refer a friend" screen in the app and on the website.

4. Mealzo may change the amount of the Reward for the future. For any given referral, the amount that applies is the one published at the moment the Reward is granted, that is when the last of the conditions in paragraph 1 is met.

5. One Reward is granted per Referred Person, regardless of how many Packages that person buys later.

6. The Reward is recorded on the Referrer's Customer Account. Mealzo notifies them in the app or on the website.

7. Purchase by the Referred Person of any Package other than a Qualifying Package — including the trial Package and the 3-, 7- and 14-day Packages — does not trigger a Reward.

8. The Referrer sees a list of their referrals and the status of each in the app and on the website. That list contains no personal data of the Referred Persons (clause 10, paragraph 2).

6. Welcome Discount for the Referred Person

1. If a Welcome Discount is published on the "Refer a friend" screen, a Referred Person validly attributed under clause 4 receives it on their first Qualifying Package.

2. The amount of the Welcome Discount is published in the same place as the Reward and may be changed for the future. If no Welcome Discount is published, none is due.

3. The Welcome Discount applies once and only to a Qualifying Package.

4. The Welcome Discount cannot be paid out or converted into Credit.

7. What Mealzo Credit is and is not

1. Credit is not money, is not a payment instrument, and is not funds held on behalf of the Customer.

2. Credit cannot be withdrawn — in any form and by any route.

3. Credit cannot be transferred to another Customer Account, sold, gifted or assigned to a third party.

4. Credit cannot be exchanged for cash, a bank transfer, an external voucher, or a refund.

5. Credit can be used only when buying a Qualifying Package, as a reduction of the amount payable. It has no other use in the Mealzo system.

6. Credit reduces the amount payable. The remaining part of the price is paid online under the Mealzo Terms and Conditions.

7. On a single Order, Credit is applied up to the amount of that Order. Credit never reduces the amount below zero and never creates an overpayment. Any unused Credit remains on the Customer Account for the next Qualifying Package.

8. If an Order paid for with Credit is cancelled, the Credit used is returned to the Customer Account.

8. Refunds and withdrawal of a Reward

1. If the Referred Person's payment for a Qualifying Package is refunded, cancelled or reversed, the Reward granted for it is withdrawn, provided it has not yet been used.

2. Withdrawal also applies where the Reward was already granted and the refund occurred later.

3. If the Credit has already been used, Mealzo does not seek its return and does not charge the Customer Account. A Credit balance can never be negative.

4. Cancellation by the Referred Person and a refund for undelivered days under the Mealzo Terms and Conditions are treated as a refund within the meaning of paragraph 1.

9. Abuse

1. The following are prohibited, in particular:

2. Where there is reasonable suspicion of a breach of paragraph 1, Mealzo may suspend the granting of a Reward pending investigation, refuse to grant it, or withdraw it under clause 8.

3. Mealzo informs the Customer of any refusal or withdrawal and of the reason. The Customer may raise objections at the e-mail address given in these Terms.

4. Serious or repeated breaches may result in a Customer Account being excluded from the Programme. This does not affect the use of other Mealzo services, unless the Mealzo Terms and Conditions provide otherwise.

10. Personal data

1. Taking part in the Programme means that Mealzo processes information about the link between the Referred Person's Account and the Referrer's Account. That link is necessary in order to settle the Reward.

2. The Referrer does not receive the Referred Person's personal data. They see only the status of each referral and its date.

3. Where the Referrer sends an invitation by e-mail through Mealzo, Mealzo uses the address provided solely to send that invitation and does not add it to any marketing list.

4. The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

5. When sharing a Referral Code with another person, the Referrer is responsible for complying with the law, in particular for not sending unsolicited messages.

11. Changes to and closure of the Programme

1. Mealzo may change the rules of the Programme or close it, in particular for organisational, technical or economic reasons.

2. Mealzo gives advance notice of any change or closure on the website or in the app.

3. Closing the Programme does not remove Credit already granted.

4. Referrals attributed before the Programme closes which have not yet met the conditions in clause 5 are settled under the rules in force on the date of attribution.

12. Language versions

1. These Terms are made available in Thai, English, Polish, German, French, Russian, Simplified Chinese and Burmese.

2. The language versions should reflect the same meaning.

3. For business carried out in Thailand, the Thai version prevails, subject to Consumer rights and to the assessment of the competent court or authority.

13. Governing law and disputes

1. The Programme and these Terms are governed by the law of the Kingdom of Thailand.

2. The Customer should first contact Mealzo so that the matter can be resolved amicably.

3. The Customer may rely on the rights and remedies provided by Thai consumer law and may approach the competent authorities or courts.

4. Complaints about the Programme should be sent to the e-mail address given in these Terms.

14. Final provisions

1. If any provision proves invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms remains in force to the extent permitted by law.

2. Failure to enforce a right immediately does not amount to waiving it.

3. The current Terms are available on the website and in the app in a form that allows them to be saved and reproduced.

4. These Terms apply from the effective date stated above.
